Applied Systems recognizes insurance carriers
and agents for interface leadership and innovation
ASCnet TENCon Special-Orlando, Florida, October 17, 2007- Insurance technology company Applied Systems, Inc., today recognized the powerful partnership in agency-carrier communication in presenting its 2007 interface awards during the Applied Systems user group's annual conference.
The interface awards ceremony took place during TENCon, the Technology, Education & Networking Conference hosted by ASCnet, Inc., the Applied Systems Client Network. Applied Systems presented the Interface Partner Award to these insurance carriers, recognizing them as best at advancing agency-company interface by creating interface opportunities:

In another awards category, Applied Systems presented the 2007 Butterfly Award to individuals committed to promoting and creating interface throughout the industry. "Interface is constantly changing and evolving," Johnston said. "This group is made up of agents, carriers, and representatives of industry organizations, and each of them manages to stay on top of the changes and foster the evolution."
Butterfly Award winners are Angelyn S. Treutel, Bob Slocum, Brian Bartosh, Cal Durland, Dianna George, Donna Barr, Jeff Yates, JoAnn Litwin, Linda Dodson and Lisa Parry-Becker.
In a third award category, Applied Systems honored three insurance carriers for their leadership in implementing live-agency claims download, an industry-first transaction for which Applied Systems developed the technology. The 2007 Industry Leadership and Innovation Award went to Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance, Fremont Insurance Company and EMC Insurance Companies.
"These carriers all went through the certification process, used the standard, and took their agencies live in an efficient, timely fashion," Johnston said. "We applaud them for providing what their agencies need."
