Applied Systems adds new data center to accommodate user growth

ASCnet TENCon Special—Anaheim, CA—September 10, 2008 -Responding to steadily growing demand from agents and brokers choosing online agency management systems, insurance technology company Applied Systems today announced it will begin using a new high-efficiency, energy-smart data center on October 1.

The new center is located in Virginia and operated by Terremark Worldwide’s NAP of Capital Region. Applied Systems chose Terremark for its state-of-the-art design that accommodates large volumes of data and affords efficient cooling and power use, said Applied Systems Chairman and CEO James P. Kellner.

Kellner announced the addition of the data center during his keynote speech at 2008 TENCon, the Technology, Education & Networking Conference hosted this week in Anaheim by ASCnet Inc., the Applied Systems Client Network.
